The Club has its own pool team that moved to us a couple of years back from another location. The Pool team participates in the local pool league. For many years the Club did not have a Pool team. With increasing interest in the sport, the Club decided they could host a team. Fortunately, this has been working very successful, with matches being played on a fortnightly and sometimes weekly basis.
The League runs on a Tuesday night, and the team have matches most weeks. Just like our darts teams, we are always looking for new inspirational players. Even if it is just that you like a game of pool, you would be more than welcome to come and join the team. If you can not make the matches every time, it is irrelevant, just turn up when you can to help out!
Due to space, there is only one Pool table, but for the league and the amount of members, it is quite adequate. It has its own part of the room with plenty of space all round the table.
